Tadé Pays de Levant was founded by the geographer Thaddee de Slizewiez. De Slizewiez was inspired to create Tadé through the discovery of ancient recipes for olive oil soaps and natural mild soap made from laurel oil and and dead sea salts. Tadé works directly with craftsmen, putting a high priority on traditional skill and choosing 100% natural ingredients. All soaps are 100% eco-friendly and guaranteed to be free of harmful chemicals and synthetic derivatives. Tadé offers Aleppo soap (also known as savon d’Alep) which is a handmade bar soap. Additionally, they produce a line of products around hammam (the Turkish variant of the Roman bath, steambath, or sauna).
